Ligustrum Lemon & Lime is a fast-growing, semi-evergreen shrub of upright, arching habit with small, glossy, golden-yellow leaves, when grown in full sun, and bright yellowish-green, when grown in partial shade. Mature plants produce clusters of scented, creamy-white flowers that bloom in summer and are followed by purple-black berries in autumn. Lemon & Lime Privet is adaptable to various soil types and growing conditions, except waterlogged. It thrives in fertile, moist, but well-drained soils, in full sun or partial shade. Once established, it is resistant to drought. It requires minimal pruning. If grown as a hedge, it needs to be pruned twice a year. In very cold areas, it may lose some leaves in winter. Ligustrum Lemon & Lime is a dense, easy to grow shrub of beautiful yellow foliage and a great addition to informal, cottage or urban gardens. Perfect for hedges and screens.
