All plants we list on the website are in stock in our nursery at Arundel Arboretum.
During 45 years of operation, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives.
What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees, shrubs and plants in general. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.
What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
Our story
Arundel Arboretum tree nursery has been an established business for over 45 years. For the past 26 years, it has been an independently run business. Our tree nursery\garden center is on the outskirts of Arundel, West Sussex, nestled within the South Downs National Park. Our stock is always handpicked from our trusted suppliers and the quality is of the utmost importance.
Our suppliers have the same ethics as us for producing top quality plants and over the years, we have built up an excellent working relationship with them to ensure they know our criteria. We are continuing to source a lot of our stock from British nurseries too.
We Know Trees

We Take Pride in What We Do
Due to our passion and commitment to providing good quality stock and customer care, we have a solid customer base that primarily comes from recommendation. Many of our clients have been with us for many years.
Our tree nursery is very unique as we are not a purely commercially motivated business, hence we can afford to focus only on trees. So you will not find mountains of plastic swag, hot tubs, discounted power tools, dominating a lonely looking plant. Only trees and shrubs, lots of trees, big, medium and small.
We believe very strongly that plants are here not only to enhance your garden, but they also have an important environmental part to play.
We are also very conscious of working with nature and wildlife as much as possible. If you want to find a tree nursery with knowledgeable, friendly staff and a very broad selection of plants to choose from, then a visit to Arundel Arboretum is a must! We look forward to welcoming you.
Our address
We can deliver the plants you have chosen within a week (subject to how busy we are) and we also offer a planting service for everything we sell at the nursery.
