Anemone Rose - 40-50cm, 2lt

Anemone ‘Rose’ is a compact, bushy, woody perennial with palmate, glossy, dark green leaves, and branching stems with large, papery, poppy-like, light pink flowers with yellow centres blooming in summer and early autumn. Anemone ‘Rose’ is adaptable to a wide range of soils but prefers fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils. It thrives in partial shade, but can withstand full sun if sheltered from the hottest sun in hot climates. Once established, it will spread rapidly. It is not very resistant to frost. It is tolerant of coastal conditions and urban pollution. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Anemone ‘Rose’, with its beautiful long-blooming flowers, is a wonderful plant, perfect for informal, cottage, urban and coastal gardens. Attractive in rock and pebble gardens. It is great for flower beds, shrub and mixed borders, wall-side borders. Excellent as a ground cover or for under-planting of roses and shrubs. Suitable for growing in pots and containers.
