Ceratostigma willmottianum is a small, spreading, late-flowering, deciduous shrub with elegant, arching, reddish stems with diamond-shaped, bristle, purple-margined, green leaves, bright red in autumn, and clusters of vivid, cobalt-blue flowers blooming in summer and autumn, followed by seed heads in winter. Attractive to bees, birds, and butterflies. Ceratostigma willmottianum can grow in a wide range of soils, as long as they are well-drained. It thrives in full sun or dappled shade. Doesn’t like too wet, waterlogged, or too dry soils. It thrives in sheltered sunny areas. It can withstand some frost. As Mediterranean climate plant, suitable for coastal conditions. Generally, pest-free, and relatively, disease-free. Low maintenance plant doesn’t require pruning. Chinese plumbago is an adaptable shrub, perfect for informal, cottage, coastal, and urban gardens. Excellent as a ground cover, for beds and borders, shrub and wall-side borders. Great for banks and slopes for erosion control. Good-looking in rock and gravel and Mediterranean-style gardens. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
