Cornus x rutgersensis 'Rutgan', commonly known as Stellar Pink®, is a hybrid dogwood tree created by crossing Cornus florida and Cornus kousa. Developed at Rutgers University in New Jersey, this cultivar is highly valued for its outstanding ornamental features, including its stunning pink flowers, attractive foliage, and impressive fall color. In the spring, Stellar Pink® bursts into bloom with an abundance of pink flowers that cover the entire tree, creating a show-stopping display. These flowers are larger and more abundant than those of either parent species, and they persist for several weeks. The tree's leaves are green and glossy, and they turn deep red in the fall, providing a colorful finale to the growing season. Stellar Pink® is a relatively small tree, typically growing to a height of 20 to 25 feet and a spread of 15 to 20 feet. It has an upright, vase-shaped habit and a dense, rounded canopy. The bark is gray-brown and develops shallow fissures with age.

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
