Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Variety' is a very attractive, spring-flowering plant. It’s a medium-sized, vigorous, deciduous shrub with an upright, open habit and narrowly ovate, dark green leaves, turning yellow with purple tinges in autumn. Masses of bright yellow, four-petal flowers bloom in late winter and early spring, before the leaves emerge, covering the whole shrub and brightening the landscape. Flowers are followed by small, brown, non-ornamental capsules. Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Variety' prefers loose, medium moisture, well drained soils, but tolerates poor and clay soils. It thrives in full sun to partial shade. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. Late frost can damage delicate flower buds. It needs regular pruning. Resistant to urban pollution. Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Variety' is sometimes described as one-season wonder because it blends into the landscape after blooming. It is great when planted in groups, on banks and slopes, or as informal hedging. Perfect for woodland and cottage gardens.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
