Viburnum burkwoodii is a multi-stemmed, semi-evergreen shrub with round, half-open crown, and ovate, glossy, dark green leaves, maroon in autumn. Highly fragrant, white or pale pink flowers open from dark pink flower buds and bloom in mid- to late spring in rounded clusters. Flowers are followed by pendulous clusters of red to black berries. Attractive to birds, bees, and butterflies. Viburnum burkwoodii tolerates a wide range of soils, even poor ones, but prefers average, moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist, well-drained soils. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. It is resistant to heat, drought, and urban pollution. It can withstand frost and, moderately, wind. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require much pruning. Viburnum burkwoodii is perfect as a specimen plant in cottage, coastal, and urban gardens. It is excellent for shrub borders, wall-side borders, foundation plantings, hedges, and screens. Suitable for growing in containers on patios and roof gardens.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
