Anemone ‘White Splendour’ is a spreading, clump-forming, deciduous perennial with deeply-cut, fern-like, dark green leaves. Attractive, white, daisy-like flowers with yellow centres, pink-tinged on the back, bloom massively in early spring forming a beautiful carpet of flowers. Anemone ‘White Splendour’ can adapt to a wide range of soils, but prefers organically rich, medium moisture, consistently moist, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. In hot summer climates, it likes some afternoon shade. Somewhat tolerant of wind. It goes dormant after flowering. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. It will naturalize over time. Anemone ‘White Splendour’ is a wonderful, low-growing perennial, with lovely and charming flowers, perfect when planted in masses as a ground cover. Great for beds and borders, for under-planting of roses and shrubs, and along paths and borders. Suitable for growing in containers. Great choice for informal, cottage, urban, and rock and gravel gardens.
