Free Delivery for orders over £350

We offer free delivery for orders over £350. 

In Zone 1 and 2 we operate our own fleet of electric vans. Due to the nature of the our products, being living things in pot, we try to avoid using couriers. 

Zone 1

Postcodes beginning with BN, PO, SO, BH, RH, GU, TN, ME, DA, SL, RG, and all London postcodes

  • Carbon neutral delivery - we run our own fleet of Electric Vehicles for Zone 1. Vehicles are charged using the solar panels at the Arboretum *
  • We aim to deliver within 7 days of placing the order
  • For orders less than £350, the costs depend on the postcode, from £20 to £40
  • Doesn't matter the size

Zone 2

  • Carbon neutral delivery (almost) - we run our own fleet of Electric Vehicles for Zone 2. Vehicles are charged using the solar panels at the Arboretum. *
  • We aim to deliver within 10 days. For some postcodes (MK, CB, CM, SP, BH) the delivery may take 14 days.
  • For orders less than £350, the costs depend on the postcode, from £45 to £60
  • Doesn't matter the size

Zone 3

  • We can only ship items under 2m in height and 1.5m in width
  • Not all products are available for Zone 3.
  • If a product you wish is not available for Zone 3, please send us a request for shipping individual quote, we can organize a dedicated freight service of bulky trees or venture out ourselves. 
  • We will use Pallet delivery with tail lift for Zone 3.
  • Only in exceptional cases we will dispatch using a courier. In this case your trees or shrubs will be packaged suitable for handling by courier network, in other words it will be overpacked with carboard, hessian, reinforced with wood strips, stuffed with corrugated cardboard, if we could fit airbags in the box - we would. 
  • Pallet delivery depends on the postcode and varies from £50-£100.
  • Usually dispatched on Tuesday and should be with you by Thursday. 

 

Timing 

We aim to deliver your trees within 7 days. We normally run

Zone 1 and 2

  • Monday, Tuesday: postcodes west of BN, PO, GU, west of RH, south of GU, SO
  • Monday, Wednesday: RH, GU, TN
  • Thursday: RH, east BN, TN
  • Friday: SO, SP, OX
  • Saturday: OX, London
  • Sunday: London, HP, LU, MK, AL, SG, CB, CM, RM, SS

Zone 3

  • We ship pallets on Monday and Tuesday. It is normally 2 day delivery, however some postcodes can take 3 days. Normally you will get your trees by Friday.

 

Not just a small print. 

Orders placed through the website are curb side delivery. We will unload and take the plants in pots to your door. Although we employ a bunch of supermen who can move mountains, it is up to a discretion of the delivery driver to decide whether it is safe and feasible to manhandle the plants to a location you specify. If you require some special handling or positioning of the plants, please contact us before or after the checkout to arrange. Some additional charges may apply if you need us to perform some miracles. 

We don't package plants - because we don't. There is enough plastic in the world and a tree pot adds a little more, but not as much as shrink wrapping the entire thing in 4 layers of bubble wrap. 

Water your plant right away. Living things in pots need water, everyday. Especially if its a pallet delivery. Arundel Arboretum delivery will be nice and wet, however on a pallet the plants will need a drink straight away. If you had to spend couple of days on a pallet - I bet you would need a drink too. 

* Although we operate Electric vans, sometimes we may need to send out our backup dirty diesel truck. For that we have 100 acre forest up on the South Downs where we are planting 5000 trees in the next year.
