Tree and Shrub Guarantee – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your purchase. We take pride in the quality of our trees and shrubs and are
pleased to offer a 12-month guarantee from the date of purchase, subject to the following
terms and conditions:

1. Guarantee Coverage

This guarantee applies to trees and hardy shrubs only. If a plant covered under this policy fails to thrive due to defects in health or quality, we will offer a one-time replacement or credit note at our discretion.

2. Exclusions

The following plant types are not covered by this guarantee:

● Perennials
● Ferns
● Grasses
● Half-hardy or tender shrubs
● Annuals and seasonal plants
● Plants damaged by weather, neglect, animal interference, pests or diseases

3. Proper Care Requirement

To be eligible for a replacement or credit note under this guarantee, the plant must have been given appropriate and regular care consistent with the species’ needs, including:

● Suitable planting conditions (soil, drainage, sun/shade)
● Adequate watering and feeding
● Protection from frost or extreme heat (where applicable)
● Reasonable pest and disease control

Correct watering is especially important, as both overwatering and underwatering can cause significant harm and are common causes of plant loss. These conditions leave visible signs, which our staff are trained to identify. Where a plant has failed due to over- or underwatering, we reserve the right to decline a guarantee claim. Contacting us promptly at the first sign of stress gives us the best opportunity to help you correct the issue and preserve the plant’s health.

4. Reporting Issues

If a plant shows signs of poor health or failure to establish, you must notify us as soon as
symptoms are observed, and within the 12-month guarantee period. Late or last-minute claims (for example, at or near the end of the guarantee period) may be rejected if the issue clearly developed earlier and was not reported in time.

5. Proof of Purchase

All claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt or invoice). We may also
request a photograph of the plant or ask to inspect it in person before processing a claim.

6. Limitations

This guarantee does not cover:
● Damage due to extreme weather (frost, drought, floods, etc.)
● Plants that have been moved or replanted after purchase
● Plants grown in unsuitable containers or locations
● Losses resulting from improper planting, neglect or accidental damage

7. Discretion

Our decision on any guarantee claim is final. We reserve the right to refuse a replacement or credit note if we believe the terms of the guarantee have not been met.
