Rosa Rampicanti ‘Santana’ is a climbing hybrid tea rose with ovate, glossy mid-green leaves, and a profusion of beautiful, lightly scented, double, deep red flowers blooming from May to September. Rosa Rampicanti ‘Santana’ will tolerate most soil types, chalky, loamy, sandy, and even some clay, as long as they are well-drained. It grows best in rich, fertile, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Best not to plant in soil where other roses were previously grown. It thrives in sheltered sunny areas. It is resistant to frost, but needs to be protected from harsh winter winds. Low maintenance, requires minimal pruning. Rosa Rampicanti ‘Santana’ is a stunning, long-flowering climbing rose with exceptional blood red flowers that bloom abundantly and repeatedly. It is perfect for walls, fences, pergolas, trellises, and arbours. Great for beds and borders. Suitable for informal, cottage, and urban gardens.
