Abelia ‘Edward’ Goucher’ is a compact, deciduous, semi-evergreen bushy shrub. It has attractive mid to dark green foliage which is tinged bronze when young. It produces an abundance of tubular lilac-pink flowers which appear in clusters during the summer and autumn. Abelia ‘Edward Goucher’ can be planted in full sun in a sheltered position. It has an eventual height and spread of 1.5-2m and should be planted in a moist, well-drained soil. It is a top class shrub for a small garden.
