It can grow in full sun if given enough moisture, but prefers full shade and partial shade. Once established, resistant to drought. It is very resistant to frost, can withstand very low temperatures and exposed positions. Generally, disease-free and pest-free when grown outdoors. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning.
