Unit price perAcer rubrum ‘Armstrong Gold’ is a striking, upright selection of the red maple, valued for its refined form, vibrant seasonal color, and adaptability to urban conditions. This cultivar develops a strong, columnar habit with a narrow canopy, typically reaching 40 to 50 feet tall and 12 to 16 feet wide at maturity. Its tidy silhouette makes it an excellent choice for streetscapes, parking lots, or smaller residential landscapes where space is limited but vertical impact is desired.
In spring, the tree produces clusters of inconspicuous red flowers before leaf emergence, adding subtle early-season interest. The leaves unfold bright green and remain fresh through summer, then transform into brilliant shades of golden-orange to red in autumn, creating a dazzling display of color. The bark is smooth and gray, adding winter appeal and contrast.
‘Armstrong Gold’ thrives in full sun and moist, well-drained soil but tolerates a range of urban conditions, including compacted or slightly alkaline soils. It is also relatively low-maintenance, pest-resistant, and adaptable, making it a dependable choice for both aesthetic and functional landscape use.

Unit price perPrunus lusitanica 'Myrtifolia,' commonly known as Portuguese Laurel or Myrtle-leaf Cherry, is a beautiful evergreen tree that belongs to the Rosaceae family. Native to Portugal, it has become a popular ornamental tree in gardens and landscapes around the world. This compact tree can reach a height of about 6-10 feet (2-3 meters) and a spread of 4-6 feet (1.2-1.8 meters), making it ideal for smaller spaces or as a hedging plant.
One of the most striking features of Prunus lusitanica 'Myrtifolia' is its glossy, dark green leaves, which have a unique myrtle-like shape. The leaves are lance-shaped, elliptical, and have finely serrated edges. They provide a year-round display of rich green foliage, adding an elegant touch to any setting.
In late spring and early summer, this tree produces small, fragrant, creamy-white flowers in dense, erect clusters. The blossoms are a valuable nectar source for pollinators like bees and butterflies. Once pollinated, the flowers give way to small, round, red to dark-purple berries, adding further visual interest and attracting birds to the garden.
The 'Myrtifolia' variety of Prunus lusitanica is prized for its compact growth habit, making it an excellent choice for hedges, borders, or screens. When planted closely together, the trees form a dense, evergreen barrier, providing privacy and a lush backdrop for other garden elements. Additionally, the tree's dense foliage also acts as a natural sound barrier, reducing noise pollution.
This tree is adaptable to a range of soil types, from sandy to clayey, and prefers well-drained soil. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and is relatively low-maintenance once established. Regular watering during its initial growth period helps establish a strong root system, after which it becomes moderately drought-tolerant.
While generally hardy, Prunus lusitanica 'Myrtifolia' may be susceptible to pests like aphids and diseases like leaf spot or powdery mildew. Regular inspections and appropriate measures can prevent these issues from becoming significant problems.
Overall, Prunus lusitanica 'Myrtifolia' is a charming and versatile tree that adds a touch of elegance to any garden or landscape, whether as a focal point, a hedge, or a beautiful backdrop for other plants. Its attractive foliage, fragrant flowers, and wildlife-friendly berries make it a favorite among gardeners seeking an evergreen tree with year-round interest.

It’s a wonderful, slow-growing, long-lived, evergreen tree of very attractive habit and spreading crown, with gnarled, twisted trunk and silvery foliage. The elliptic leaves are grey-green, silvery underneath. Tiny, fragrant, white flowers are followed by small, olive-rich, plum-like fruits, harvested when they are green or purple. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. It thrives in warm climates. If grown in colder areas, it should be planted in containers and brought inside during the winter. Generally, disease-free. Olea Europea is mostly grown for its tasteful fruits, but it is also an attractive-looking addition to urban, coastal, Mediterranean, or rock and gravel gardens. Unit price perSunset apple is a heavy-cropping garden apple with upright, compact habit and attractive pale pink flowers that bloom in March. They are followed by small, round to ovate, golden-yellow and green fruit with red and orange striping. A white to ivory flesh is crisp, firm and fine-grained, sometimes tinged with green. It has sweet, sharp, aromatic flavour. Sunset Apple was bred in approximately 1918 by G. C. Addy at Ightham, Kent. One of the parent varieties is Cox’s Orange Pippin Apple. Sunset Apple was meant to be similar to it, but easier to grow. It is very resilient, generally disease-free, cold and frost resistant, therefore, suitable for growing even in northern parts of Europe. Doesn’t need a pollinating partner because it is self-fertile. It is not commercially grown because of its small size. Sunset apples are crispy and juicy, great for eating or cooking. When cooked, they retain their shape.
M26 is a semi-dwarfing rootstock (smaller than MM106) used for apple trees, particularly in orchards and home gardens. It produces trees 10-12 feet in height, making them easier to manage and harvest. M26 ensures early fruit production, good anchorage, and medium vigor. However, it requires staking during early years and is moderately susceptible to fire blight.
