Jacobinia, is a beautiful, tropical, upright growing, flowering, evergreen shrub with large, dark green leaves and stunning, bright red and yellow, nodding flowers from late winter through springs lightly scented. It's a compact plant, reaching a height and spread of 0.2–0.6m. Due to its sensitivity to cold, it's best kept indoors in a conservatory or greenhouse during winter or in colder regions.

Acer rubrum 'Redpointe' ('Frank Junior') is medium-sized, fast-growing, upright, oval to pyramidal, vigorous, deciduous tree.
