The Serbian Spruce is prized for its dense, dark green foliage that forms a striking contrast against its gray-brown bark. The needles of the Picea Omorika are short and stiff, measuring between 1-2 cm in length, and are arranged in spirals around the branches. In the spring, the Picea Omorika produces small, inconspicuous flowers that develop into light brown cones, measuring between 8-15 cm in length. The cones are a valuable source of food for a variety of wildlife, including birds and small mammals. Picea Omorika is a hardy tree that is well-suited to cooler climates and is often used in landscaping and as an ornamental tree in parks and gardens. Malus tschnoskii is a medium-sized, ornamental, deciduous tree with narrowly upright habit and pyramidal to ovoid, half-open crown. Its green foliage has exceptionally beautiful autumn colours, ranging from yellow and orange to purple and copper red. The Metasequoia glyptostroboides, commonly known as the dawn redwood, is a deciduous conifer belonging to the family Cupressaceae. It is one of only three species of redwood trees and is renowned for its prehistoric origins, often referred to as a "living fossil." 

This remarkable tree can grow to impressive heights of up to 40 metres (130 feet) with a conical shape. The bark is reddish-brown, fibrous, and peels off in long strips, giving it a distinctive appearance. The leaves are needle-like, arranged oppositely on the branches, and turn a rich bronze or golden-brown before falling in the autumn. This seasonal shedding of leaves distinguishes the dawn redwood from its evergreen relatives.

Metasequoia glyptostroboides thrives in temperate climates and prefers moist, well-drained soils, often found near rivers and wetlands. Its growth rate is rapid, making it a popular choice for ornamental planting in parks and gardens worldwide. Carpinus betulus, or European Hornbeam, is a large, deciduous tree with a fluted grey trunk and very appealing, dense, oval to rounded crown. The leaves are ovate, serrated and ribbed, dark green in summer, coppery yellow in autumn. They remain on branches long into winter. Flowers appear in separate male and female catkins before the leaves, in spring, and are followed by winged nuts. European Hornbeam is a low maintenance and easy to grow plant. It is satisfied with any type of soil, but prefers fertile, dry to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. It is generally disease-free and pest free. It can tolerate drought. Carpinus betulus is an excellent tree and a nice addition to any garden. It is great as a specimen plant or in a group. Because of its tolerance to pruning, it is perfect for hedges and privacy screens.

Hosta 'June' is a herbaceous perennial that dies back completely in autumn and re-emerges in spring, forming a low, mounded clump of foliage. The heart-shaped leaves are the plant's main attraction, displaying a striking blue-green margin surrounding a central splash of creamy yellow that matures to pale gold as the season progresses, with the colour intensifying when grown in brighter light.
