Acer dissectum, or Weeping Japanese Maple, is an attractive low-growing, deciduous shrub with an elegant arching habit and delicate ferny, lace-like leaves with long, thin lobes. Deep purple in spring, bronze-green in summer, and bright scarlet in autumn, this shrub is attention-grabbing and perfect as a focal point or feature tree in any garden. Acer dissectum prefers protected areas, away from full sun and hot winds. It thrives in moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soil, but can grow in most soil types. For the best leaf colour, it has to be in partial shade, though it tolerates full sun. Lack of moisture or excessive exposure can cause leaf scorch. Weeping Japanese Maple, with its unusual shape and gorgeous colours, is a beautiful addition to any garden. It is perfect for small city gardens, great for banks and slopes, and ideal for the edge of a pond. Suitable for growing in containers and small pots.

    About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
