Buddleja davidii 'Black Knight', or Butterfly Bush Black Knight, is a large, vigorous, fast-growing, deciduous shrub with bushy habit and arching stems. Its leaves are long, lance-shaped, dark green with white felted undersides. Mildly-fragrant, dark purple, almost black, flowers with orange-yellow centres are clustered in cone-shaped panicles. Very attractive to butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Buddleja davidii 'Black Knight' is easily grown. It prefers moist, well-drained soils in full sun. It tolerates partial shade but it becomes weedy and sparse, with much less flowers. Resistant to drought, generally pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance. It may die to the ground in cold winters but emerge again in spring. Butterfly Bush Black Knight is best grown in informal, cottage, and wildlife gardens. It is perfect for a foundation shrub, an accent plant, or as a background in beds and borders.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
