Camellia sasanqua is a slow-growing, upright, densely branched, pyramidal to oval-rounded, evergreen shrub with narrowly oval, pointed, dark green leaves. A profusion of graceful, mildly aromatic, white, pale pink, rose or red flowers with golden yellow stamens, bloom from late summer to early winter, depending on climate. Flowers are followed by small, rounded, seed capsules. Camellia sasanqua is not very difficult to grow if given the right conditions. It needs organically rich, loamy, slightly acidic, consistently moist, well-drained soil. It thrives in partial shade and needs to be protected from early morning sun and direct hot summer sun. It cannot withstand frost and needs to be sheltered from cold, drying winds. Fertilizing is not necessary and can be damaging if not done properly. Low maintenance plant. Camellia sasanqua is one of the most beautiful autumn flowers. Great as a specimen plant. Excellent for beds and borders, informal hedges and screens, or foundation plantings. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
