Camellia sasanqua, with its vibrant pink flowers, is a captivating plant when trained in an espalier style. In this particular depiction, the Camellia sasanqua is meticulously arranged against a metal frame, measuring 120cm in height and 90cm in width. The metal frame, crafted with a blend of both functionality and aesthetic appeal, provides a sturdy structure for the camellia to spread its branches. The plant itself showcases a lush, green foliage, creating a stark but harmonious contrast with the soft pink of its blossoms. The flowers, characteristic of the sasanqua variety, exhibit a delicate, almost translucent quality, with petals that are both tender and robust. They are distributed evenly across the espalier, demonstrating careful pruning and training to maintain this elegant form. The overall effect of the espalier is one of natural beauty restrained and accentuated by human artistry, highlighting the camellia's grace while adhering to the geometric precision of the frame. This espaliered Camellia sasanqua serves not only as a botanical specimen but also as a living piece of art, blending seamlessly into garden landscapes or as a standalone feature.

Arundel Arboretum is a shrub and tree retail nursery with over 40 years of experience.
About Us
During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.
What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
