Clematis Olympia, a part of Boulevard series, is a compact, low-growing, deciduous climber with dark to mid-green leaves. Very attractive, star-shaped, lavender blue-purple flowers with creamy yellow anthers bloom for a very long time – from late spring to autumn. Flowers grow both from stems and from leaf axils. Clematis Olympia thrives in rich, neutral, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Its roots should be kept cool, shaded by other plants. It doesn’t tolerate cold, dry winds. Low maintenance, it requires very little pruning. Its blossom attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, but the plant is toxic to animals. Clematis Olympia is an attractive, woody vine with stunning flowers. It is great for adding vertical colour to a garden. It should be grown with a support for climbing. Its compact habit makes it very suitable for growing in pots and containers. Perfect for covering bare legs of rose shrubs.

We will deliver your tree and plant it for you. Or 10 trees or a 100.

Arundel Arboretum is a shrub and tree retail nursery with over 40 years of experience.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
