Cotinus coggy ‘Young Lady’, or Smoke Tree ‘Young Lady’, is a dwarf, slow-growing, spreading, multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub or small tree that flowers at young age and brings the abundance of large, smoky-pink or purplish, fluffy flower plumes that cover the entire shrub and create a spectacular smoke-like appearance. Ovate, green leaves turn yellow, orange and red in autumn. Smoke Tree ‘Young Lady’ thrives in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils, in full sun or partial shade. However, it is very adaptable and tolerates almost all types of soils, even poor and rocky. Once established, drought-tolerant. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Easy to transplant because of its fibrous root system. Cotinus coggy ‘Young Lady’ is more proliferous than other varieties. It is perfect as an accent plant in a small yard, or planted in a row as an informal hedge or shrub border. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
