Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Feuerzauber’ is a superb ornamental shrub valued for its outstanding winter display and is highly suitable for a wide range of gardens. This deciduous witch hazel forms an upright, spreading habit with a graceful, open structure that works well as a specimen plant in lawns, borders, or woodland-style plantings. Its main feature is the spectacular late winter to early spring flowers, which appear on bare branches as masses of spidery, ribbon-like petals in glowing shades of fiery red and orange.
