Juniperus communis 'Repanda' is a prostrate, low-growing, mat-forming, coniferous, evergreen shrub with thin, densely arranged branches and aromatic, soft, narrow, spiny, needle-like, dark green leaves, bronze green in winter. It produces green to purplish, berry-like seed cones. Its foliage is of slightly different texture than other junipers. Juniperus communis 'Repanda' grows well in a wide range of soils, even very poor and rocky ones, but grows best in moist, well-drained soils. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. Once established, resistant to drought. Really dislikes hot and humid conditions. Tolerant of frost and very low temperatures. Adaptable to air pollution and urban conditions. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Juniper 'Repanda' is a very strong, resilient, ornamental shrub, adaptable to various conditions. It forms a beautiful, uniform carpet and is perfect as a ground cover. Excellent for beds and borders, looking great in rock and gravel gardens. Suitable for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
