Osmanthus 'Fungo' is a slow-growing evergreen shrub with a compact, mounding habit. This unique variety of Osmanthus features glossy, dark green leaves that are oval-shaped and finely toothed. What sets Osmanthus 'Fungo' apart from other Osmanthus varieties is its highly fragrant flowers. In late autumn, the shrub produces clusters of small, creamy white flowers with a strong, sweet scent that permeates the surrounding area. The plant prefers full to partial sun exposure and is hardy in USDA zones 7-10. It grows to a height of 2-3 feet and has a spread of 4-5 feet. Osmanthus 'Fungo' is relatively low-maintenance and can tolerate a wide range of soil types, including sandy and clay soils, as long as they are well-draining. This shrub is an excellent choice for use in mixed borders, rock gardens, or as a specimen plant in a container. It is also a great option for small gardens and urban settings where space is limited. The fragrant flowers of Osmanthus 'Fungo' make it a popular choice for use in perfumes and soaps.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
