Phillyrea Angustifolia is a dense, compact, upright, evergreen shrub, very well branched, with long, narrow, leathery, partially glossy, dark green leaves. Small clusters of scented, creamy white flowers bloom in late spring and early summer and are followed by rounded, blue-black berries in autumn. Phillyrea Angustifolia can grow in a wide range of soil types, even dry and rocky, but thrives in fertile, humus-rich, very well-drained soils. It prefers full sun, but tolerates light shade. Once established, resistant to drought. As a Mediterranean plant, tolerant of heat and salty air, suitable for coastal conditions. Resistant to frost, but needs to be sheltered form harsh, drying winter winds. Generally, pest-free and disease-free. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require pruning. Narrow-Leaved Mock Privet is an excellent shrub, suitable for informal, coastal, cottage, and urban gardens. Excellent for hedges and screens. Great as a specimen plant or for shrub and mixed boarders. Good for growing in pots and for topiaries.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
