Rootgrow is a mycorrhizal fungi product that helps plants establish stronger root systems by forming a symbiotic relationship with their roots. These fungi enhance nutrient and water uptake, particularly phosphorus, leading to healthier, more resilient plants. Rootgrow is commonly used when planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables to improve growth, drought resistance, and overall plant health.

However, some plants do not benefit from Rootgrow, including brassicas (cabbage, broccoli, kale), beets, rhododendrons, azaleas, and blueberries. These plants either do not form mycorrhizal associations or prefer acidic soil conditions unsuitable for the fungi. Using Rootgrow on these plants may provide no benefit or, in some cases, be counterproductive.
