Weigela 'Towers of Flowers Apple Blossom' is a deciduous shrub with a compact, upright, columnar habit, making it well suited to smaller gardens or spaces where a narrow, vertical form is needed. Its dense growth creates a tidy structure throughout the growing season. In late spring to early summer, the shrub produces an abundance of trumpet-shaped flowers in soft pink tones reminiscent of apple blossom, with paler, almost white throats. The blooms appear in clusters along the arching stems, creating a striking display against the green foliage. A light repeat flowering can occur later in summer, extending the period of interest. The flowers are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects, offering a nectar source during the main flowering period and supporting garden biodiversity. This variety is tolerant of a range of soil types, including clay, and performs well in both full sun and partial shade, making it a versatile choice for mixed borders, narrow beds, or as a feature plant where space is limited. It is a reliable, low-maintenance shrub suited to most garden settings.
