Olea Europea is one of the world’s oldest cultivated plants with Mediterranean origin. Platanus Acerifolia is a large, vigorous, single-trunk, deciduous tree with rounded habit, horizontal branching and attractive peeling, grey and cream, bark. Large, palmate, 3-5 lobed leaves are medium to dark green, yellow-brown in autumn. Inconspicuous, small flowers, yellowish male and reddish female, bloom in April. Female flowers are followed by long-stalked fruiting balls packed with seed-like fruits in autumn, persisting on branches throughout the winter.
