Magnolia grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty' is a large, evergreen tree of narrow, pyramidal to oval habit, with leathery, ovate, glossy, dark-green leaves, rusty-brown beneath, and large, fragrant, cup-shaped, white flowers blooming in summer and autumn. Magnolia grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty' is easily grown in a wide range of soils, but prefers light, fertile, slightly acidic, moist, and well-drained soils. It doesn’t like too wet or too dry soils. Once established, it can withstand some drought. It thrives in partial shade and full sun. It has very good cold tolerance, but needs to be sheltered from harsh, dry winds. Not tolerant of urban pollution. Low maintenance, doesn’t require much pruning. Magnolia grandiflora 'Bracken's Brown Beauty' is an attractive, slow-growing, ornamental tree, perfect as a specimen plant or a small shade tree. Great for informal, cottage, and woodland gardens. Excellent for beds and borders, informal hedges and screens, and for growing in containers.

About Us

During this time, we have developed a large stock of trees, mature evergreen shrubs, conifers, Japanese maples, cedars and olives. What sets us apart from a generic garden center is solid unwavering focus on trees and some bigger shrubs. You will find thousands of trees, hundreds of varieties and lots of experts who are working on the nursery and more than willing to help you to choose a plant for you.

What you will not find is hot tubs, garden furniture and plastic garden gnomes. In a nutshell, trees is what we know and trees is what we do, and only trees (and some shrubs to go with the trees).
