Prunus cerasus 'Morello' is a small deciduous tree of spreading, compact, rounded habit, with ovate, serrated, green leaves, attractive white blossoms, followed by dark red, sour fruits in late summer. It’s a good and reliable cropper. Sour cherries are smaller than sweet cherries and have bitter-sour taste. They are perfect for cooking, baking, especially in pies, tarts, jams, and preserves, also for making wine or cherry brandy. Morrello Sour Cherry grows best in moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soils, but will tolerate most soil types as long as they are well-drained. It thrives in full sun or partial shade. It is resistant of frost, but needs to be protected from harsh winter winds. Self-fertile plant but for best fruit, two or more plants should be planted nearby. Low maintenance plant, doesn’t require much pruning. Prunus cerasus 'Morello' is a beautiful flowering tree great for small gardens. Perfect for wall-side borders or informal hedges. Grown mostly for its fruit.

Prunus avium 'Napoleon' is a small, bushy, deciduous, fruiting tree with ovate, toothed, dark green leaves, orange and red in autumn, and masses of simple, fragrant, white flowers with yellow stamens, blooming in late spring. Flowers are followed by large, sweet, aromatic, glossy yellow cherries, flushed red when mature, ready for harvesting in late summer. It is sometimes called “white cherry” referring to its pale yellow flesh. Prunus avium 'Napoleon' can grow in a wide range of soils, but prefers fertile, loamy, slightly acidic, moist, well-drained soils in full sun. It doesn’t tolerate waterlogged soils. It can withstand frost, but needs to be sheltered form harsh winter winds. Late frosts may damage the flower buds. Fairly tolerant of wind. It requires a pollinating partner nearby. Low maintenance plant. Sweet Cherry 'Napoléon' is an excellent specimen plant or planted against a wall or fence in small cottage, wildlife, or urban gardens. Heavy and reliable cropper.

Prunus Avium ‘Sunburst’ is a medium-sized, self-fertile, deciduous cherry tree with upright, rounded crown, oval, serrated, green leaves, and lovely, white blossoms in spring. Low maintenance plant. Suited for fan-training. Prunus Avium ‘Sunburst’ is primarily grown for its sweet, juicy cherry fruits, but it can be a great specimen tree in a small informal or cottage garden. Excellent in beds and borders, and wall-side borders. Suitable for growing in containers.
