£1,290.00
Unit price perThis specimen has 90-100cm gnarly trunk which forks into a neat two brached tree with heavy top. Amount of foliage may vary depending on the season and prunning requirement.
Olea Europea is one of the world’s oldest cultivated plants with Mediterranean origin. It’s a wonderful, slow-growing, long-lived, evergreen tree of very attractive habit and spreading crown, with gnarled, twisted trunk and silvery foliage. The elliptic leaves are grey-green, silvery underneath. Tiny, fragrant, white flowers are followed by small, olive-rich, plum-like fruits, harvested when they are green or purple. Fruits are not edible directly from the tree, but after a special treatment. Common Olive grows best in fertile, loamy, moist, well-drained soils, in full sun, but can tolerate partial shade. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. It thrives in warm climates. If grown in colder areas, it should be planted in containers and brought inside during the winter. Generally, disease-free. Olea Europea is mostly grown for its tasteful fruits, but it is also an attractive-looking addition to urban, coastal, Mediterranean, or rock and gravel gardens. It is suitable for growing in pots and containers.

£1,320.00
Unit price perThis is unique, gnarly, mature specimen tree. Very rare and uncommon.
Ziziphus Jujuba, commonly known as jujube or Chinese date, is a species of small deciduous tree native to China, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years for its fruit and various medicinal properties. Belonging to the buckthorn family (Rhamnaceae), this tree is revered not only for its delicious and nutritious fruit but also for its adaptability to diverse climates and soils.
The jujube tree typically grows up to 5 to 12 meters in height, with shiny green leaves and small, fragrant, yellow flowers that bloom in late spring. The fruit, resembling a small date, ripens in late summer to early autumn, transitioning from green to reddish-brown or mahogany when fully matured. Jujubes are sweet and tangy in taste, with a chewy texture similar to that of dates.
Throughout history, jujubes have held cultural significance in various regions. In traditional Chinese medicine, the fruit and other parts of the tree are believed to possess medicinal properties, including anti-inflammatory, sedative, and immune-boosting effects. Jujubes are often used to alleviate stress, improve digestion, and promote overall well-being.
Jujubes are a popular ingredient in culinary dishes and beverages. They can be eaten fresh, dried, candied, or cooked into jams, syrups, and desserts.
Moreover, the jujube tree plays a role in agroforestry systems, as it is drought-tolerant and can thrive in poor soil conditions. Its deep roots help prevent soil erosion.

Unit price perPhotinia x fraseri Red Robin Compacta - Multistem - Height 300-350cm - 180lt
£1,320.00
Unit price perPhotinia × fraseri ‘Red Robin Compacta’ grown as a multi-stem shrub is an excellent choice for adding dense, evergreen structure and vibrant seasonal colour to a garden. This more compact form retains all the ornamental qualities of the classic ‘Red Robin’, but with a tighter, bushier habit, making it ideal for smaller spaces or more controlled planting schemes.
Its standout feature is the brilliant red young foliage, which emerges in flushes throughout the growing season before maturing to a glossy dark green. This continual contrast brings long-lasting visual interest and works beautifully in mixed borders, courtyard gardens, or as a low screen.
Thriving in full sun or partial shade, it prefers fertile, well-drained soil and benefits from a sheltered position to protect new growth from cold or drying winds. As a multi-stem specimen, it offers a softer, more natural shape, adding depth and layering to planting designs.
Typically reaching around 2–3 metres in height, it remains manageable and responds well to pruning, which encourages fresh red growth. Hardy and low maintenance, it is a versatile option for adding year-round colour, structure, and privacy to both modern and traditional gardens.

The tree can reach up to 30 feet (9 meters) in height and has a rounded, spreading canopy with silvery-gray branches and leaves that are dark green above and silvery-gray beneath. The leaves are lance-shaped and have a wavy margin, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) long.
The tree produces fragrant, small, yellow flowers in the spring, which are followed by small, oval-shaped fruits that mature in the fall. The fruit is edible and has a sweet and tart flavor, often used for making jellies or jams.
Elaeagnus angustifolia is a hardy and adaptable tree that can tolerate a wide range of growing conditions, including drought, salt spray, and poor soil. It is often used for windbreaks, erosion control, and as an ornamental tree in parks and gardens. However, it can also be considered invasive in some regions, particularly in North America, where it has escaped cultivation and can outcompete native plants.

£1,695.00
Unit price perMorus nigra trained as a mature four-branched espalier is an outstanding choice for gardens where space, productivity, and ornamental structure are important. Its carefully trained horizontal framework creates a formal architectural feature that looks superb against sunny walls, fences, or boundary lines. This elegant form allows gardeners to enjoy a traditionally broad-growing mulberry in a far smaller footprint, making it especially suitable for compact gardens, courtyards, and kitchen garden settings.
The tree carries attractive heart-shaped leaves that provide fresh summer greenery, while its rich purple-black fruits ripen in late summer. These sweet, aromatic berries are highly prized for fresh eating, preserves, and culinary use. In autumn, the foliage may develop warm seasonal tones before leaf fall, while the bare branch structure adds winter interest.
Morus nigra thrives best in a warm, sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. A south or west-facing wall is ideal, helping fruit ripen fully and protecting young growth from colder weather. Once established, it is hardy and long-lived, requiring only periodic pruning to maintain its espalier shape and encourage fruiting wood.
Perfect for decorative edible gardens, formal layouts, and smaller spaces, this mature espalier mulberry offers beauty, character, and generous harvests for many years.

£1,695.00
Unit price perMalus communis trained as a mature four-branch espalier is an excellent choice for gardens where beauty, productivity, and space efficiency are equally important. Carefully shaped with four horizontal tiers of branches, it creates a formal architectural feature that looks striking against walls, fences, or boundary lines while producing delicious apples. This trained form is especially valuable in smaller gardens, courtyards, kitchen gardens, and narrow spaces where a traditional orchard tree would be too large.
In spring, the tree is covered with attractive blossom that brings seasonal colour and helps support pollinators. Through summer, the neatly arranged branches carry developing fruit, followed by a rewarding harvest in autumn. Even in winter, the structured framework provides strong visual interest and classic garden character.
Espalier-trained apples perform best in a sunny, open position with fertile, well-drained soil. A south or west-facing wall can improve ripening and protect blossom from late frosts. Regular pruning is needed to maintain the elegant tiered shape and encourage productive fruiting spurs, making it ideal for gardeners who enjoy hands-on care and training.
